Most coaching relationships are completely straightforward. These are the habits that keep it that way — written especially with women clients in mind, and useful for everyone.
Make the first session public
Meet at a registered gym, studio or a busy public park for your first session — never at a private home or an unfamiliar closed space. If the coach pushes back on a public first session, treat that as a red flag.
Keep chat on Trainerrs
Talk, book and share plans inside the app. On-platform messages are recorded, which means we can act quickly if something goes wrong. If someone insists on moving to WhatsApp or a personal number before you've even met, be cautious.
Tell someone where you'll be
Share the gym name, session time and the coach's Trainerrs profile link with a friend or family member. Ask them to check in with you afterwards.
Use the Women-only tag
Coaches who train women exclusively carry a Women only badge on their profile and in search. You can filter discovery to show only those coaches.
Verify before you pay
Ask for certification details and check them yourself. Avoid large upfront payments to a coach you've never trained with. Trainerrs does not guarantee any coach's qualifications.
Report anything that feels off
Every coach profile and every chat thread has a Report button. Reports are confidential, the other person is never told who reported them, and our team is notified immediately.
—If you feel unsafe right now
Leave the situation and contact your local emergency services first. Then report the account on Trainerrs so we can suspend it and review the chat history. In India you can call 112 (emergency) or 1091 (women's helpline).
—What we do on our side
- Identity checks (KYC) on every coach and brand before their page goes public.
- Verified email and mobile required before anyone can contact a coach.
- Contact details stay private — coaches never see your email or phone unless you share it.
- Reports go straight to a moderated queue; accounts can be suspended immediately.
A verified badge confirms identity, not competence — read our Terms of Service for what Trainerrs is and is not responsible for.
